Event Childcare Team Lead
Demonstrating organization, leadership, dependability, and initiative, this individual will help ensure a smooth check-in, staff support, the beginning of the shift and end-of-shift responsibilities as needed, and coach other staff members in their responsibilities to provide a safe, caring environment for children whose parents are participating in ministry-related events.

Job Description:
Essential Functions:
- Work in a classroom during scheduled childcare events
- Lead shift(s) as needed, which includes: Check-in; Being available to support EC staff working during that shift; Beginning-of-shift responsibilities, as outlined in the checklist; End-of-shift responsibilities, as outlined in the checklist
- Support EC Director and Assistant Director as needed
- Work with EC Assistant Director to plan and set up any special activities or stations for elementary classes
- Coach fellow Childcare Workers and Jr. Childcare Workers in leading children and following childcare processes and procedures
- Provide safe, nurturing supervision for children
- Demonstrate love and compassion for children
- Ensure all childcare processes and procedures are executed
- Meet the age criteria of at least 18 years of age
- Remain focused on children under care
Critical Skills: Organization, leadership, dependability, and initiative.
Other Performance Expectations:
Be at least 18 years old and be available to work several hours on weekday mornings and/or various evenings including Sunday.
Reports To: Event Childcare Director
Relates Closely To: EC staff, parents, children in Event Childcare, EC Assistant Director
Job Status: Part-time, less than 20 hours per week
