The Hallford family serves with Cadence International ministering to US military community. They moved to Eagle River, Alaska in August of 2022 to serve soldiers, airmen, and families of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Anchorage, Alaska. Ben is a native of South Carolina, and retired from Army Infantry in 2018, after 20 years of service. Simi was born in Romania and moved to South Carolina in 1995 to attend Holmes Bible College. They have 3 children: Lidia, Teo, and Ruby. After Ben’s retirement from military, God has called them to fulltime ministry. Ben and Simi love the military and because of their military experiences, they understand the spiritual challenges and joys of military life. They share the Gospel and their lives by leading the JBER Cadence Hospitality House in Alaska. Throughout each week the JBER Hospitality House provides: Bible studies, fellowship meals, small groups, service opportunities, community outreach, recreational activities, and more. We aim to follow Jesus and helps others follow Jesus as well. “We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the Gospel of God but our lives as well.” 1 Thessalonians 2:8
Way to Pray: The Hallfords have made great inroads into developing relationships with the military community around them and have busy weekly gatherings! Please pray that those they serve will continue to see Jesus through the Hallfords and come to depend on Him.
